St. Louis Cardinals during their transition from the Old Busch Stadium to the new one, DNT’s preliminary analysis discovered that The Cardinal’s had outdated laser printers with limited connectivity, no scanning capabilities, limited color, inadequate capacity to meet the demands generated by playoffs or World Series games with virtually no service contracts and multiple vendors and brands. DNT addressed the Cardinal’s challenges by installing fully networked, multifunction devices; adding software to scan and index files for easy retrieval; and providing dedicated equipment to produce large format signs eliminating the need for outside vendors. The bottom line? With fewer, more efficient devices, document output expenses have significantly been reduced, while the quality went up.
Francis Howell School District DNT’s solutions reduced the district’s cost by over 30% — a $600,000 annual savings. DNT’s analysis revealed that the district had over 350 ink-jet printers and 250 laser printers with no scanning or document sharing capabilities. Furthermore, teachers had to courier hard copy documents and wait for outputs — a significant waste of time, energy and quality.
